Since joining forces in 1988, Mark Badgley and James Mischka have established a place in the arc of American fashion, concentrating on social dressing in the style made legendary by designers Bill Blass, Oscar de la Renta, Christian Dior, and Adrian. Body-conscious, embellished, modern evening gowns imbued with the dreamy feeling of Hollywood’s golden age have been Badgley Mischka’s signature for more than 40 years, cultivating a revival of American glamour on the red carpet.
Causes we support
During the lockdown of Spring 2020, Mark created 35 one-of-a kind sketches, conceived of and created while he and James were isolating at their home in Palm Beach, Fla. Each sketch represents an emotion, mood, thought or feeling brought on by the worldwide health crisis. The designers have partnered with Feeding America, which provides support to their network of food banks across the country and assistance to those facing food insecurity.
